I was thinking of starting an azura guild called “The Church of Excelsiorology” and have the Guild leader be an azuran named Thom Krewes. Thoughts and anyone else want to do this and send me an invite?

I’m very happy in my guild ATM but would love to see this in the game.

Why?
All an Asura only guild would do is unnecessarily limit possible guild members.

Imagine if you will, your out about in dub v dub, fighting and defending, and roaming around, and on the horizon you see a large force coming your way. Which would you prefer, a band of rag tag troops from all across Tyria or…a legion of the smartest race known across the kingdoms. Image a force of floppy eared brainiacs chargeing straight at you, shouting and screaming like crazy, all the while computing in there little skulls the best way to defeat what ever it is they see. I’ll take on the largest Norn in single hand combat to the death before i stand toe to toes (giggle) with a band of Asura!!

Now with guesting an all race guild would work much better. Sure you could not all go together into WvW, but you would get some guys trying the guild out in PvE that might transfer over to the server the guild is on.

I’m in ANTS and also “The Agency Asura Alchemica” Because all my characters are asura and I need opportunities to sate their insatiable asuran bloodlust.

For some reason i like this idea. I have a lvl 80 ranger on ET if anyone is putting one together there or I’ll move to another server.

Several have existed to my knowledge. I don’t know which are still active, though.

Guys, I think now in the time of the megaserver, the time for this has finally come

find me in game, we welcome all and any asura lovers into our all-asura guild
Mainly Sea of Sorrows guild, we currently as of this posting are at 90+ asuras strong and growing.
We have a teamspeak channel on the main SoS TS, but would love to have our own ts some day.
We currently only mainly focus on Guild Missions and PvE/World Events, maybe some EotM karma trains at times.

Majority of our members are still very committed their main guilds, so they’re not actively repping this Asura guild yet… as we grow I’m sure we’ll slowly find more committed asuras to help in growing this into the most awesome asura guild.
We need “officers” and “council members” to help lead this guild in WvW/PvE.

Join us! We’ll be running a Guild Bounty (all asuras!) tomorrow Thursday 8PM PDT (GMT-7), if not join us on Friday evening, same time.

I created one a while ago called A Guild Called InQuest with the tag [QTip]….see what I did there? Had a golem logo (of course). Never recruited or had any interest in running an actual guild. Just made me chuckle.

Count me in if interested.
