That would be OP, other races have to suffer the limited intelligence of their pets and so should you. :p (No seriously, that’s not what golems are for and they are not pets)

If i could have picked a golem pet for my ranger i would have. and still would pick one up if it was in the in game store.

If you want a pet golem you can take it as your elite skill (Summon golem), or get it from the hall of monuments as a harmless mini pet if you were to go play GW1 :p

Asura are the only race without a unique starter pet for Rangers.
Anet dropped the ball big time imo.

If a jellyfish can be a pet and still do as commanded, I think a golem will be just fine.

There’s a certain suspension of disbelief that goes into some of the available hunter pets. I mean, I can understand a shark, but a jellyfish?

So to say a golem is too smart to be a pet, you would also have to say that a jellyfish is too stupid to be a pet. And it’s not. So.

Golems can be colored using acquired dyes. Their abilities are assigned out of a list tailored by you(Using skill points) to fit your build. However, they may lack certain traits that living animals have.
