Pretty much all of the Asuran Necromancer’s lines are great. Bonus points go to “Each more hideous than the last!”, though. He sounds so happy when he says it.

Elementalists have three separate lines for when they switch Attunements. These are the ones I know of (and can remember):

Fire:
- “Fire!”
- “I have ignition!”

Water:
- “Water!”
- “Cleansing will now begin!”

Air:
- “Air!”
- “Now you will feel my turbulence!”
- “Severe weather warning!”

Earth:
- “Earth!”
- “Rocks and stones will break your bones!”

On a more general note, I love the lines my male Ele spouts when he gets Chilled (“Body heat diminished!”) and when he suffers from Bleeding (“I’m hemorrhaging!”) and when he’s Crippled (“I’m incapacitated!”). Plus, he also lets out this really hilarious scream when you try to walk while Crippled.

When he summoned a golem – “Perfection!”

Some more female stuff I haven’t spotted elsewhere in this thread:

Vulnerability: “My defenses are down!”
Weakness: “I’m weakened? Preposterous!”
Critical Health: “Help me. I’m hurt.”
Killing an enemy: “How does that feel? Excrutiating?”
Walking while crippled: “URGHARGLARRHHRRHHH”

Well i want to bump this thread up because i found a guardian skill that makes my asura say quotes that i havent heard anywhere else in the game and there is about 10 of them. I do think that its gaining protection and regen at the same time that does it so try it out if you can self put those 2 buffs on you at the same time with using one skill.

When i use “hold the line” in combat or entering combat (i have hold the line on auto cast) my asura sometimes says..

“The keep is ours, on to the next”

“Dont just stand there, dodge!!”

“being a genius is such a burden”

" compared to me, other asura have the intelligence of a carrot"

“i see genius looking back at me, everytime i look into the mirror”

“you’ll get more out of your display matrix if you reverse your lateral crystal” that one isnt exact as its hard to hear what he says after reverse

There are a few more but i cant remember them atm, they are very rare quotes so dont expect to get them often. I dont know if it works for other races but its hilarious when im fighing and he yells out the display matrix one.. I swear my asura has the biggest ego.

One I heard rather randomly while picking stuff up:

“The secret…is to lift..at the knees!” along with the “Where’s a golem when when you need one?”

I always thought Norn should say “I feel six feet tall!” when they’re hit with Weakness.

I’ve never heard the “dumb corpse” line before. Now I really want to hear that.

I don’t really know what triggers it, but in the middle of battle my male Asura will occassionally say
“For the record, you’ve been struck”
I quite like that one.

One that I’m not so fond of is a low-health quote.
“Why won’t…anyone help me…”
Sounds odd for an Asura to be asking for help and makes no darn sense when I’m alone.

“Six feet tall!” Still bugs the hell out of me. It implies that bigger is better, and that clearly isn’t the case, since Asura-like is better. No self-respecting Asura would compare himself to a clumsy, bumbling bookah.

A week or two ago I was on my Asuran elementalist and I think she said something along the lines of “If I had to rate myself…” I don’t remember exactly what it was but it was pretty funny. I don’t know if it’s an elementalist only thing, I rarely use that char and was just on just to blog treb fire in WvWvW I think. I haven’t heard it on my mesmer. Anyone know the line?

using burst skills activates a few different ones as well, ive had “This is your end!” on Evisceration, and a few others i cant remember offhand on flurry.

“I have created LIFE … of a sort.” – When summoning Minions (Necromancer)

Male Guardian, I’ve heard him say this twice, and I have no idea what triggered it.

Female Warrior (maybe others?) Upon Leveling up:

Possibly a stun breaking ability? Rocket boots are an engineer ability that breaks stun, immobilize, crippled and chilled in addition to leaping back and knocking the engie down.

There seem to be a lot of skill-specific clips in the game that haven’t actually made it in.

Female elementalist:

- “Spark to flame!”
- “Observe the power of fire!”

Water
- “Water!”
- “Wave and current!”
- “The water’s rage!”

Air
- “Air!”
- “I summon the wind!”
- “Let the storm rage!” (or something similar)

my favourite is probably ‘ofcourse we made it; i knew the way’ when completing dungeons

“I’ve been.. enfeebled” – Asura male receiving weakness

Female when rally – “I’m back… and brilliant!” “I don’t think well on the ground." “Fully functional!”

I like the “I have a major in pain, and a minor in suffering” one, but my favorite is “Synergy is beautiful”. It’s my main’s catchphrase, as you can see in my signature XD.

The necro lines make me want to reroll my Charr necro to Asura now. Also, the guardian lines are awesome.

I heard one that was something like “where did that come from?!?” after I got one-shot by a sniper in arah exp (57k crits hurt). Female asura btw.

I don’t know if it was mentioned earlier, but my fem. guardian used this line lately:

“You will not pass!”

Another necro summoning one I love on my little evil dude is (something along the lines of):

‘Up on your……errrrrr…….FEET!’

All in all Asura really do have some of the best voice acting on them

Male Falling: wha?? whaaHH!!! WAAAAUGHHH!!!!!!!

On necromancer
When summoning minion:
“Arise my brainless, ARISE!”

When a minion dies:
“I suppose I can make another.”
“I will miss you always… You nameless thing.”

How can someone not love Asura?

My Asura elementalist said “Now I’m even MORE dangerous!” the last time I spent a skill point.

Learning a new skill: “I’ve puzzled something else out!”

Downed: “You? Beat me?”

After being revived: “It’s about time!”

Deploying a turret: “Turret constructed!”

Picking up a bundle: “The secret is to lift with the knees.” and “Augh, my back.”

Eating from a food tray: “Substandard, but edible.”

Obtaining an exotic: “Rare and valuable!” “Quite a reward!” and “Now this is a find!”

Feared: “Executing escape plan!”

I really wish there was some way to get my hands on all the audio files for the asura dialogue. It’s just awesome.

When you’ve summoned minions underwater and then walk out onto dry land, the minions die, my female asura says:
