An awful lot of missing VO in story cutscenes...
I noticed this same issue.
Human Female Mesmer
I’ve noticed a couple of missing VO sentences a few times recently on my female asura but didn’t think to grab screenshots as it happened.
I play a female human guardian. Many of Treahearns vocals would miss for me on my storyline (vI took vigil if that helps). I bugged in game when I was sure it wasn’t my own lag or inattention
For those of you who are experiencing missing lines in cinematic conversations: are you playing a male or female character?
I play a female human thief. I’m going through the commoner storyline with missing parents. There’s been a lot of incomplete vo in the 20-30 range for me.

female norn here.
I’ve had missing audio on a female Human Guardian, my girlfriend on a female Norn Elementalist and female Asura Mesmer.
All of the places I was having this issue were solved with the recent update. (I was waiting until a fix came in before proceeding with story missions on several characters.)
Female, but its more frequently the Other NPC’s dialogue audio that is missing than my own. It seems at least 1-3 lines from every cutscene are missing.
I hadn’t been logged into the forums to see this thread earlier, but I had submitted some bug reports regarding the lines and what missions they were in when I noticed it. My characters are female, so it’s interesting to read this thread coming to a conclusion about that.
Since the previous patch/update before today, though, this issue seems to have stopped for me. I wanted to post my thanks.
During the end of “Breaking The Bone Ship” there are quite a few missing VO’s.
I haven’t experienced missing lines, but some of the Priory lines in the Norn quests prior to choosing your order have text lines and voice over that don’t match.
There are some cinematic conversations that are missing VO files. It helps if you can screenshot the missing line for us, or if you can at least give us the text. They’re easy to fix if we know those details.
I had it where for the ascolon dungeon Brimerock (The charr?) didn’t start talking but had the subtitles on until about half way through the cinematic at least for me.
