In my case, I seem to be somewhat unique:
Cody states – “We’re aware that you experience the sounds of your Greatsaw far quieter than anyone else who has made contact about this issue, and that still needs a bit of troubleshooting. It will be looked into for a future release.”

I must say that Cody spent quite a bit of time with me testing this specific issue and with the very next release, raised the volume Globally.

This seems to have solved the problem for most people, of which I am glad, thou sadly not for myself.

Thank you Cody and the Audio staff for your continued diligence and dedication to the GW2 community.

Well it has been 7+ months since the Audio Team "still needs a bit of troubleshooting. It will be looked into for a future release.”

I am wondering where we stand on this issue.

My GreatSaw remains more quiet then my Snow Leopard’s snarl or the grunt my Norn makes to swing it.

Do I remain the only one that possesses the WhisperSaw of Quiet Serenity?

How can I possibly grunt louder then a Chainsaw?

This remains my favorite weapon in the entire game and it pains me to have it so grossly silent.

As always, I remain available to assist in resolving this issue.
