Reveal skills not working against mesmers
It’s one utility and a trait (which procs at an extremely low health threshold). Reveal skills work just fine against the rest.
Actually the trait could be the reason why it seems to me that it works so few times. I usually activate Sic Em on them once they reach 30-40% to finish them off and they very often seem to get away into stealth.
Reveal should still work against any form of stealth in my opinion. That is its purpose.

Ah I found it. http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Desperate_Decoy
It is even mentioned there that stealth is granted even while revealed
Was this done on purpose by the developers or is it a bug? Could a dev clarify that? Thanks in advance

While the effect of decoy is almost identical to stealth, it is not stealth. The stealth buff gives you an icon of a hooded figure on your buff bar that reads “stealth” while decoy gives you a pink icon that reads “decoy.” In addition invisibility from Decoy can not be stacked in duration with invisibility from stealth skills. Therefore, I’m going to venture that this is not a bug and is working as intended. But hey, maybe the devs will hear your plea as it is a great excuse for another Mesmer nerf.
Has anyone tried reveal on a leopard elite of the norn? This stealth also has a different icon and even was able to capture and guard points while in stealth until last patch.
Maybe anet should make this clear. Does it work as intended or should reveal effect other forms of stealth as well?

As a mesmer I would be rather happy if decoy would grant normal stealth (which is vulnerable to revealed debuff), because then I could chain stealth more easily. As of now I have to time my seconds stealth if I wanna stay cloaked, because decoy stealth and normal stealth don’t stack.
Chronomancy works, I am proof of it. Now stop asking me questions. Time must be preserved!
It’s as they say, Mesmers gets “bug” fixes that cripples the class even more than the already bugged skills before, like what happened to iLeap. Yes, let’s do the same here.
If they removed all bugs on mesmer, all of you would see how bad they actually are atm. Since amusingly most of the bugs are actually positive for the mesmer.
Sigh.
