They did say they have more changes to come so they could add more to the balance patch. Odds are it would be it’s own patch as they are changing Sigils, Runes, and Crit Damage. I doubt they would add more class balance to that patch.

When they do the class balance patch I hope they bring more to the table then this. I would like to see more skills and abilities tweaked so we can have more viable builds.

They suck in teams, they suck in wvw, they suck in just about everything else… They don’t scale with armor tiers (ascended) get 1 shot by aoes they can’t dodge. Basically the entire game, mostly useless, only pretty good for 1v1 (mostly against nubs, not even pro players).

Minion master:
Putrid explosion now blockable, shaved 5% of the minion damage boost from Training of the master, nerfing Vampiric master by 10%.

Warrior:
The king of every kitten part of the game and played by most of the devs, and known for the most hated heal in the entire game.
Healing signet -8% hps, but we want to bring up the active to make more useful…

Minion masters were the issue, when the top 50 tpvp are dominated by Guardian bunks, warriors of all flavors, thieves, spirit rangers and aoe condi spammers (collectively, this is about what every major tpvp team consists of, 1 of each). It’s just my one, biased, but prime example of them having no idea. x.X

To be honest, Rangers are actually pretty strong, but only in the very first wave of damage. Their spirits stack above and beyond the normal Might/Fury limitations, and on top provide extra targets to AE through. They’re not as weak as people make them out to be unless both zergs cap in size.

The strength of heart to face oneself has been made manifest. The persona Carighan has appeared.

If you only take one mesmer to do all that, chances are it will not have any self survivability tool packed in, so, chances are, it will be a dead mesmer… rather have a few mesmers to cover everything and can have what it takes them to survive…

well rangers do need help in wvw, i agree, but believe me u dont want those utilities. if u had them u would become a boring veilbot too. utility botting is extremely unsatisfying. i hate it when people ask me to portal this and that and then i have to run with the commander infront for the veil, so in the beginning of a fight im right in the middle of them, so i need blink anyways, and then all i can take is another utility like feedback or nullfield, instead of an extra stunbreak which i need badly. so no there is no freedom in this. mesmers are servants for the warrior train so they can go and get their lootbags. u veil, u try to get to a safe place and then u hopefully tag a few things.

Try that on a T1 zerg. We frequently need more than one mes to port the entire group and multiple veils/chaos fields are always better than one. Lets not forget golem porting that can need several to get right.
