From the patch notes: 10 days of special sales in the Black Lion Trading company which will bring back limited sale items such as the gathering tools. This sale will start on Fri Aug 23 at 12:00 am PDT.

They better bring back Rox’s Set, I wish I never missed that. What are you guys hoping they bring back / do you think they will jack up the prices from what they were originally?

I’m hoping they don’t bring back the gathering tools in the first 4 days. I want to get them but I’ll be away from home and completely unable to get online.

I’m actually tempted to pay real money for that.

…though the Economist in me keeps looking at Gem prices saying “They’re still not high enough… Trade gold for them to drive them even higher and kitt even more people off”. Plus I’m never making a Legendary at this rate so I need something to spend this stupid 200+ gold on.

Personally, anything cool would be good. I like some of the armor skins. I missed a lot of stuff because I didn’t play for a long time due to school commitments, so the chance to get some of that would be nice.

Considering all the people who have made posts asking for these limited time items to come back. It’s not considered greedy for a business to give customers what they want and someone who thinks so doesn’t have a sound grasp of basic business practices.

Too bad I’m going to miss most of the days this sale is going on due to being away.

Wish they’d just leave these items in the gem store … yes, they’ll make more money in one go with the rush this sale will create, but actually over time, people would keep buying these items.

I’d love if the Plush Griffon I bought (with real money) would have his ability to swim (glide, run in place, whatever) restored so I’m not left with an awesome looking pet that I paid for that I have to conjure every 4.2 seconds.

Ok, a bit hyperbolic, but then again not so much.

I’d also like to buy some communication and support, if that can be sold in the store. Whether you like the game or not, I have lately been really spoiled by the folks at Gaz.

Oh, and (more hyperbole) I could use some NPC bots to help me kill Claw that aren’t all “We’re the 1%!” with their Free Gordon Gekko T-Shirts and signs. That would also be nice. :p

I would love to get the permanent tools for my Ranger as well- I have them on my Engi and have been kicking myself that I only bought one set ever since

outstanding. Thank you both to the OP for this reminder (I missed it entirely in the patch notes and would have hated myself for a while if I missed the chances) and also to Anet for bringing back those temp items. I missed them the first time around due to financial difficulty (was job hunting), but now am ready to buy buy buy (job hunting successful!).

It it is soulbound on use so anyone can get it but you have to equip it on the right character

It it is soulbound on use so anyone can get it but you have to equip it on the right character

Good question. I hope the former, but the description kind of makes it sound like it’ll be a rotating selection of items.

Really want the flame and frost dyes, not sure about anything else right now. Maybe a permanent pick, but that’s a maybe – not a huge fan of them, I don’t harvest enough anymore

They really need to make these account bound. Kind of absurd to ask people to spend 2,400 gems per character to acquire a set of these. I’m hoping since they made the reusable salvage kit account bound they might reconsider this stance.

Flame and frost dyes yes please. Southsun supply crates would be nice because those are the skins I wanted the most and yet I didn’t get a single one. Somehow though, I managed 3 jade dragon tickets :] Rox and Braham would be nice, I’d definitely buy the quiver since I only had enough for the Shield.

serious investors either already sold them for 10000% profit or will continue to hold them until the prices rise back up. Personally I cashed out already, made a tidy profit.

I wonder if the holiday weapons will come back. That would be interesting…

Really glad they’re bringing stuff back! Back when the quiver was there I didn’t want one, but I prefer the look over the ascended ones… (and this is cheaper tooooooo \o/ )

People like you seriously need to stop tossing that word around until you actually know what it really means to be greedy.

I accidentally deleted my Rox’s Quiver back when I was making my Fractal Backpack and I’ve regretted it ever since. I really hope they bring it back, otherwise I’ll be sad.

F&F dyes would be nice, 150+ Golden shekels for a dye is too rich for my blood, considering other dyes are able to get the same/close to same effect. I’d still like the dyes because i am a dye collector, though.

Why the Halloween items? They should be coming back at the end of October already… Which is why I don’t think we’ll see Wintersday or Halloween items in this sale.

Well I assume a new sale item or 2 or more each day for the next 10 days. This is day 1 and we got the white kitten. I missed buying him the first time so I picked him up this time around.

I assume the weapons skins and tools are coming. I kinda hope there is a tool pack as well as individual tools, that would be nice.

The sale doesn’t start for another 3 hours. Not sure what the kitten is doing there. Guess he is a random pre-sale sale item.
