Its been too long without this feature.. already am I a sad kitten…

100 replies and no ETA…

People are asking for too much, race sex etc. changes add much more complexity and time. Think about the demand for name changes after sex changes for example. Race changes affect abilities ex. Norn elite skill.

I for one would rather just get a simple makeover kit NOW for my current race and sex so i can change my dang hair color and hairstyle and a few other minor things.

Keep things simple and we might get it faster.

I require this. Not least because ANet kittened up on a certain human female face, where “Iris Size” does not modify, well, iris size but instead eye size as a whole.

Im ready to pay gems for this and I’d also like to see a renaming service.

Although I’m mostly happy with my characters because I took a while designing them in the first place. Beginners beware!

Once I hit 80 I regret the appearance of my character & I would pay a reasonable price to change the aspects of my character.

+1 And looking forward to seeing these transactions in the Gem Store as soon as possible!

Race change would be great to, most Asura I know are mad they chose it once they hit 80.

I’d pay $10 worth of gems for an appearance change scroll. It doesn’t impact anything power-related and I’m sure lots of players would also like it. It would be a very profitable move if it’s even possible with the game’s design.

I need this feature noah… its in the game…lol.. whats takin em so long :P

Don’t give them ideas. In GW1 appearance changes cost $10 as well, but you got 5 charges of it, except gender changes. I hope they adhere to the same price level in GW2.

I wish we could get a word on this.. been waiting for months.. :/

Restored Asuran head sizes to the size selected during character creation

I hope when they make this they add a feature to change your name. I put my favorite name on a profession I don’t enjoy playing. The one I do enjoy playing is way to far along to delete just to rename.

Hair style changes, I’m sure it is coming. I really need to fix my char hair to fit with the outfits.

Yup, the weps are to small, most nords weps are so big they go through the ground yet asura ones don’t so they have scaled them even smaller for asura.

The weps asura carry should grow 4x bigger when they are in use, little guys running round with massive weapons would be great, make them small again when sheathed. The nords are so tall i can’t see their heads when zoomed all the way out on asura, it’s a bit odd how small the zoom range is.

Well i am looking forward to the new items in november. Because we cant rush them with all the suggestions that we as the consumer/player has given such a great team

they won’t because they apparently still have a few bugs. How would you guys feel if you bought them, changed your character, then the next time you logged in all those changes were reverted?

ANet wants to get this out as soon as possible, they want the money they know is going to be thrown at them the moment recustomization is released… but they are also smart enough to know not to intentionally release a buggy item.

I was so focused on trying to get my characters name I never spared the time, I would really like to see an option to re-customize my character especially my Sylvari hair since it doesn’t glow!

I’m waiting on the name change desperately… 2 slots on my account are merely placeholders for new names for 2 of my other characters. I’m just hoping it’s not going to take 2 years+ for ArenaNet to implement this as it was in GW1.

I’d buy gems to change my characters gender/hairstyle/body build/face/name. Perhaps a price of 500 or 600 gems would be reasonable.
I’m not sure about race change though. It’d mean a complete change to your personal story (which i suppose you could just play through from the start after changing race) and it’d make any cultural armour you have on useless.
A hairstylist in each different major city could also be good. They’d offer selected hairstyles from other races along with your own races hairstyles. A human wanting sylvari style hair could be implemented by changing the leafy look with human hair and it’d work the other way with sylvari wanting human hair.

I was expecting and I was disappointed, I waited two weeks for last night patch, just for this makeover kit, thinking for sure this was gonna be in it. Agree with the the post above, I’ll probably log back in when this feature it finally available. If you guys have an ETA, that would be much appreciated.
