How is any skin in the gem store worth buying? At least this has more value than any armor skin because it reduces future costs. Armor skin adds nothing. This smells like a troll thread. Why complain about the cost of the pick and not the armor or weapon skins. The musical instruments are the same. They are nothing more than a bad investment by the OP’s logic. By his logic, why buy anything. You should just hoard your gold like a dragon would. But then, what’s the point of earning the gold, if you’re not going to use it.

I think many don’t see them as a skin because they are not visible all the time.
Personally i also always have seen them as a skin and so another part to complete
my characters and before the wardrobe i always thought : i’d better buy these tools
for ALL my characters instead of buying one legendary for just ONE character.

Sadly wood isn’t worth harvesting it since ascended armor patch, so my 7 axes are enough for the moment, and my other chars carry only ori axes.

Maybe if we get a new axe skin someday ..

I think it’s kind of amusing you wasted all that space and typing time to state something most everyone already knew (cost is not a reason to buy these) without the 5th grade math analysis……good job!

The old prices I paid for on the first set on their initial release was only 800 gems due to the fact they were soul bound. They were definitely worth it then but they are a bit pricey now. I personally would still get them as I don’t mind the price and if you don’t own any unlimited tools to begin with they are pretty handy.
