Hello lads,

I’ve done my searching around the web and I found an item which you can use to change your ingame character’s name. This item obviously does not exist anymore (or it never does) and I’m wondering if they gonna make it available again.

P.S. Sorry for my bad english, I was a very very bad student when I was kid! hehe

Item did exist they NEED to bring it back in s usable capacity. The item existed but was only shown the the trading post you could not acquire the item. ANet please Take my Money ill buy gems just add this feature … Community wants This!

Well said. The point is some people of this community including myself think that the name of our characters is an important part of our experience at GW2. I paid once for buying the game and now I can give some money to get for a “better name”. For the majority of the community this is stupid and I get that!

I agree, i’ve waited for the name change contract for so long, and they’ve still not released it. I’ve basically stopped playing for awhile because of my toon being a male with a female name. Everyday I log on and hope that the name change contract appears, so I can play again with my toon having the right name I want for it.

I’m sure a lot of you were expecting the name change contract to have been here by now, especially with the new update. But I guess not.

I seriously do not know why they would put something like a gender switching item on the trading post, but they won’t release the name change?

I joined the GW2 forum yesterday and I’m new so I don’t know.. Do we have any chance the GW2 Team answer to threats like this one? I was playing wow for the past 4-5 years and there are the well known “blue posts”, something like that here?

Anet has confirmed it will be coming. Their last reply in the Thread is 6 days old, so I’m pretty sure it will come. It’s just a matter of time.
