Q:

Hi there. Over the past week, I’ve been leveling up alts, so I can gather orichalcum and ancient wood, to refine and sell on the trading post.

I had no issues before, but for some reason, when I went to gather today, no nodes had respawned. I’m going to assume this is a bug, but I could be wrong, which Is why I decided to ask the question.

Thanks.

A:

Nodes are character bound and AN have said in the past they have no reason to change this. I have multiple farming toons and they still remain character bound.

Not sure if they are account bound, but I know they have a 24h respawn rate now so if you gathered on them all yesterday at 6 pm, they will respawn today at 6 pm.

Well, you can always check by marking out a node, going with one character, grabbing it, and then logging on to another and seeing if it’s still there. If you could tell us what you find, that’d be awesome, cause don’t have enough 80 chars to do that myself. :P

Not that i know of, I gather all the nodes in the morning, then 4 of the nodes respawn 4 hours after that and the 4 hour respawn continues on the same 4 node and only those nodes, so i do 3 gather runs per day. The biggest being in the morning.
