No. If everything is greyed-out, you can’t gain experience anymore.

What you should do is to visit http://www.gw2db.com/recipes/cook

There, sort the list by the recipe level and start doing discoveries, preferably those of level300 as they give you the most experience. Once you had made your lvl300 discovery it will appear orange on production tab and you will gain a lot of experience from crafting it. Alternatively you can make another discovery.

You really need to use a Cooking guide to level Cooking. With the amount of ingredients and intermediate ingredients “experimenting” won’t get you anywhere.

for 300-325 I recommend making peach cookies, you can buy peaches in bulk from a karma vendor(ill let you figure out which one) and cookie dough can be made easily from ingredients sold by master chef.

Also as a tip, id buy plenty of peaches as they will also help you get from 350-400 fairly cheaply once you figure out how to use them
