Good day people of the internet! I was just wondering if cooking was worth it. I’m mainly looking to save money instead of buying food outright from the TP. And if so, what would be a good guide? Thank you for your time, and have an internet cookie.

Cooking is fairly easy to hit 400.
Most ingredients are fairly easy to harvest especially when you have multiple 80’s. Some are a royal pain, most of the time you’ll save buying the ingred over the finished product. Though there aren’t many recipes that will turn in the big moneys.

Basically, no harm in getting a character to 400 chef and shouldn’t have much if any cost using your existing mats. Never used a guide, there are a few out there that dynamically show you the cheapest route just check up on google and use the one you like best.

Bah i’m not worried about turning a profit in cooking, I just don’t wanna pay out the wazoo for my food anymore…annnd now i sound like a free loader.

If you are constantly buying food, then yes, it’s worth it. You can also recoup the cost of levelling it in a little over a week if you have enough geodes to buy the recipe for the plate of piquant plant food.
