So I’ve heard that the experience has been adjusted so one can no longer level from 1-80 by leveling all crafting from 1-400.

My question is: what level should I get a new toon to so that 1-400 crafting will bring him to 80?

1-400 now gives 7 levels, and there being 8 crafting professions. 7×8=56 levels.
80 minus 56 is 24.

Get to 24 then use crafting.

I only ask because I’ve heard that crafting actually takes you from 1-62

Well actually, 5 professions give 7 levels each and the three 500 ones gives 10 levels. So this is 3*10 + 5*7 = 65. Use a xp scroll to reach level 20 before crafting and voila.

Do you really expect players to level 400-500 just to get the last 3 levels? It cost so much that you won’t do it to level your character.

@OP, as it stands, you can no longer level your character to 80 by pure crafting. If you don’t have exp scroll, it’s even harder for you.

OP’s question was “Is it possible?” and not “Is is cheap?”. Because theses two questions have different answers.
