For corrupted lodestones there are 2 incredible farms: elementals during the fight with claw of jormag (doing it very early in the morning with ~10 ppl can get you >1) and temple of grenth event – also elementals. Go for AoE dmg as even this small elementals that are summoned by huge ones can drop them. When I was farming them I loved when we kept failing and repeated the event again and again – max dropped was 4 I believe and it was within 1h.

So if my server never has Temple of Dwayna, I cant farm Charged Lodestones anywhere?

I play on a ‘Full’ server, yet almost every temple in Orr(especially Straits/Malchors) is contested when Im online.

I saved up 600k karma before balthazar’s temple was taken, and I checked the map a lot during that grind.

So yeah… I see lots of people saying Charged Lodestones have a ‘reliable’ farming location, yet they never mention that you have to control the temple, which just doesnt happen on my ‘full’ server ever.

Where can I farm for these?

No where without control of the server unless you count running instances but since you need groups I don’t consider that reliable either.

Lodestones should have almost the same drop rate as a T6 mat, they are just crafting mats after all…

Chests, mobs in fractal as far as I know don’t drop lodestones.

I’ve spent 20+ hours farming these areas and got ZERO lodestones, even when I teamed up with someone, they got some . Tried different characters, different armor. MF gear, bars, etc.

I wish they would have weekend events, that would increase the drop rate for different rare material like lodestones.

Does anyone know the drop rate on Destroyer Lodestones/Cores ?

I’ve only been getting Large Fangs from the destroyer mobs in Mont Maelstrom

I’ve tried farming these for so long and it feels like I’m trying to farm Baron Rivendares horse from vanilla WoW lol

It’s been a long while since my last post here, however I wanted to say I have added a lot of new info to my posts as well as a very informative guide to the second post in this thread to help you make a ton of money to buy all the Lodestones you could ever hope for. Hopefully I will be able to keep adding more things to this thread in the future! =)
