I’m an elementalist.

I made an Incinerator recently. Thought it would look neat with a Corrupted Shard so I made that too. Now I’m working on some fun stuff like permanent auction, hair style, commander tome etc.

Then I’ll probably make a Bifrost.

When I’m done with all that, hopefully they’ll have updated the Scepter or Focus models with cool effects (Maybe even new weapons for the profession entirely will be available, who knows). Then I’ll go for that stuff too.

Dreamer, frostfang and rodgort on my ranger and I am done.

lol this is ridicilous the ones who actually play the content and not the TP aren’t able to buy a precursor and get a reward for playing but the ones who just stand in front of the TP are able to do 7 of them. This is no attack on the ones who do this, it is their choice, but it just is a sign (for me) that there is something wrong with this system.

Will there be something in the next patch? I haven’t seen anything in the description, but maybe someone knows more.

I only anticipate making 1 unless the next wave is either a) more visually appealing, b) includes legendary armor, or c) they devise a new system that is less easily sidestepped with money.

Right now they don’t convey much prestige in my mind and they don’t look that good on my characters. The only reason I’m bothering working towards one of the first generations Legendaries AT ALL is for the log-in screen seal. I’m hoping we see some progess towards a second generation before I actually pull the triger in case I can redirect some of my progress towards those. ANet still has a few months to try to do something with more long term appeal.

I plan on making absolutely “zero” Legendary’s !!

I hate the whole RNG bull so refuse to have anything to do with the Mystic Toilet.

The whole process smacks of lazyness on A-Nets part.

Get me on a long and epic quest line like a souped up Heritage/Epic quest in EQ2, then we’ll talk !!!! Not this sham of an RNG excuse.. Nothing legendary whatsoever.

As many as I need to pwn everyone on all classes. ^^

Zero. Far too much of a grind for me for little payoff, as I don’t like any of the legendaries for my main, Elementalist. There’s only a small handful of legendaries in the game I even like, most I find over the top or ridiculous, and even the ones I like aren’t worth it for me.

Maybe if they introduce better ones in the future, I might make a long term plan to get one, but even then the grind just turns me off. Fine for people who like that sort of thing but I hate gear grinds of that magnitude.

Has Anet ever talked about changing this part of the process? I’d pay extra to remove the RNG part (cause I think I will be unlucky.)

One: The Bifrost. Have been trying to get precursor since months, no success. All 3 gifts done, but I think I’ll start saving karma/skillpoints and ectos for another one: underwater weapon or hammer for my second char.
