Guild Wars 2 has a living story. That is, what happens, stays happened, and may very well influence what will happen.

Many people are saying “Vote Gnashblade for cheaper chests!” or “Vote Gnashblade for Abbadon!” While I personally disagree on both counts, there is merit to the argument. However, that is not the purpose of this thread.

Kiel is shown frequently to be a kind, caring, sympathetic, and overall moral character. Evon, on the other hand, has rarely shown up, and has been put negatively when he has. As a result, I would judge him as an immoral character.

Once the voting is over, and we have our candidate, there’s no going back. Arenanet said that whichever fractal doesn’t make the cut won’t actually ever be made. Ever. As in, they’ll just throw it out. However, this has implications beyond the fractal itself.

What might happen differently with Evon in charge, as opposed to Kiel? Judging by the past living story events, each event draws heavily off its predecessors. With an immoral council member instead of a moral one, consider the possible negative implications for stories to come. Rather than help free the Southsun Settlers, Evon would have had us help enslave them. Rather than embrace the Norn and Charr refugees, Evon would have had us reject them. Is that what you really want in a leader?

Vote Kiel. Save the future.

That’s a loaded question, because as a lot of players decided in the past to play “bad kitten ” races in mmos, here its the same. Sometimes its just more fun to be bad.

And honestly, we did all that. We saved settlers, set things to right, found a murderer, exterminated crazy mai. Isn’t it now time to be bad?
