173 Ellen Support Tokens. I did my voting. Got 3 tickets left though, no idea what to do with them.

I’m gona be sad if my candidate losses because of the stack of 250 tickets I still have left. Really wish we had advanced notice of this.

I got about 300 left, cause I forgot to use them last night. Hopefully I’ll be able to do something with them. Guess I’ll leave them for the month and see if they wind up with any use.

I bought 1 token just as a memory after the votes shut down. Spent all the others well before they closed it ^^

Your candidate is either more than 400k points ahead or behind. There’s that much difference between them 3 days ago(with Kiel being ahead) and i think the gap got even larger.

(Heard about a guild selling off Legendaries and using the gold from it to support Kiel all the way).

Your candidate is either more than 400k points ahead or behind. There’s that much difference between them 3 days ago(with Kiel being ahead) and i think the gap got even larger.

That may be, but I’m still sad that there wasn’t advanced notice about this. I thought that votes were going to be closed when the new patch comes out Tuesday. It really would have been nice if we got an in-game mail telling when the voting was going to close.

Imagine. Someone decides to vote in bulk, but for some reason (Poor coding, mistyping the number, what have you) it only counts as one vote. 237 tickets wasted on a SINGLE vote.

Yeah. With the chance of that happening, I’d rather do the “One click one vote” option.

When will we know who won? Hoping for some election night special, complete with pie charts, phone polls and analyst speculation

11am PST is such a weird time to close the polls.

They wait until people could get home from work? Or at least give an in-game notice to folks that the polls would be closing early on Monday?

Hey hate to tell you but there was advanced notice. The patch notes told us exactly when the votes would end. Ill admit they could’ve been a little more loud with it, but it was there

That’s a bit far out.

That’s kind of like saying we should have to kill enemies one at a time for slayer achievements because there’s too high a chance that the coders can’t manage to get it to count if we accidentally kill two in the same hit.

Heralds must be wrong. And Anet’s communication skills in-game are as poor as usual.

Votes are closed? I thought I could vote till tommorow. I should have double-checked the date at the event page. I guess I can throw away all my support tokens……

Same. Who would have thought to check the patch notes for something so important you would have expected a lot of hubbub and in-game announcements? When patch notes come out, I tend to skim them since they don’t generally tend to have information this important that isn’t posted somewhere else.

The real kicker? Both of my guilds were saving their tokens for today. As in later today, so they could turn them all in at once. And all were voting for Evon, myself included. Great.

Thing is the event page didn’t say the time. I checked it last night and the GW2 twitter said nothing either. So I figured I’d have until the next patch or until the end of the day at least. I usually cut anet slack on stuff but this irks me a bit seeing as I wasted some gems on one of the support kits. I guess this is another “learning experience”? Hopefully anet will get to a point where we can stop using this excuse for poor planning and communication.
