How did you get up there!? I’ve been trying, but keep hitting invisible walls and unclimbable slopes!

kitten no, I’m on NA servers. Could you point me in the right direction, like make a screenshot that shows which spot on the map far west you got up at and which skills you had to use.?

Yeah I’m on NA as well. Perhaps a detailed description would help us, like where you start, how far along the edge of the map the entrance is, what techniques you have to use, any clear landmarks, or even a screenshot. Thanks

Iirc, the scratched tree is an Easter Egg that has been there since beta. It refers to the 55 monk from Guild Wars 1, a famous farming build.

Not sure if it is related but that same sound can be heard in Dragon Ball arena.

A new PERMANENT dungeon. The steampunk gear is most likely the armour you can buy from that dungeon, its the armour set.

i hope it is if its not permanent, im giving up on this game soon… 8 months in, like 2 updates that have been permanent (only good update which people care about, fractals)

Hmm, if you walk quite far away from the mountain, it wont load and you are able to see whats inside. I did some exploring and this is probably the best screenies i got

Sadly i think so too… All you can do with it is destroy some paper pinatas of the ship to get some candy… And then 1 week later its all gone

But seriously, i hope it is a new dungeon. PERMANENT one aswell. The new steampunk armor is probably the dungeon armor. Seems logical, but you never one with Anets: “The world is ALIVE!! OMG; Things dissapear after a week! ITS SO REAL!”

Wouldnt surprise me if the first new armor set we get since launch is a cash shop exclusive :/

Yes. Just yes. It would be EXCELLENT. But considering what Anet has been toing with the living story recently, my hopes are not very high.

From what I heard on Guildcast the devs are looking to make things more permanent after hearing that players wanted them to keep some of this stuff in the game for more then just 2 weeks. I guess heres hoping they are actually listening right?

I have the same hopes for a new permanent dungeon, but as far as i know there are pictures fro the armor to be sold on the gem-store. But i wont give up that hope until the release the update. It would be sooooo great :’(

Wait, wasn’t there a “monk” girl with healing abilities at the effigy instance yesterday?? Is this some special commemoration on the old GW1 profession or sneaky hints of a new profession sharing the name? (not very likely, I know. Still, strange)

Pretty sure its related to the aetherblades, there are already itemcodes ingame for their armor and weapons. And even an artwork showed up that seems to be for the gemstore, where their armorskins are bought.

I just hope armor + weapons means a new dungeon token vendor!

Yeah, I’ve heard this too. I’m confident that when they say there will be more permanent content, they really will do it. Anet may not always make the best decisions, but you can tell that they are listening. What they do with what they hear is another story.

So now with the last part of the story opening tomorrow, I’m kinda confused as to what the mystery mountain is for? Is it part of the Bash content, or a prelude to something that happens ‘next’?

If I had to guess, I’d bet that it’ll become accessible as part of the content on the 25th.
