Yes, but isn’t the PS canonically already supposed to be over once LS S1 started? I know it feels disjointed to a new player, but the LS is in fact your character reliving his/her history.

Lions Arch has personal story quests inside it:
- The starting location (green marker)
- Some personal stories take place inside Lions Arch, they’d have to remake the personal stories.

Hence Lions Arch will not be destroyed in any large scale or meaningful way.

ANet has called that “anything is fair game” and “anything can be destroyed”.
They have some 350 employees and guestimatingly about 80 working on living story. There is a -huge- room for rewriting the entire personal story if needed.

Now I’m not sure they would do it…
But if they really want to show us something spectacular, then that’s what’s happening.

Yeah. What better way to introduce new players to Scarlet than having her incorporated into the personal story slightly. Just enough to change the LA pieces.

I think everyone is simply reading way too much into this whole Scarlet/LA thing.. personally I am pretty confident all is going to happen is Scarlett is going to blow out a new Moa Racing course for us all to enjoy and guess who will be selling the race tickets…..

I hope Lion’s Arch doesn’t get totaled, but after what happened to the statue, the lighthouse, and the Hills, you never know. . . .

Nope they specifically said they would never do anything that interrupted the personal story of new players. If they do destroy LA it will only be a building here or there, but it certainly won’t alter the structure or layout of the city as this would create problems with the personal story which they said they won’t do. It’s also why they won’t use phasing as it separates players.

Well if that happens, hopefully they learn to not rebuild it. Its just going to keep being destroyed.

Let’s also not forget all of those unfinished asura gates. This might mean that the ones right by the water/nearish to that thumper may get obliterated. I don’t think all of LA is going to feel it, but a lot of it will. I’m looking forward to that.
