Will we be able to get blade shards in the future after this (and probably next) patch?
Or is this going to be our only opportunity to get them?

Also, is there any plans on making the blade shards (not the backpieces) trade-able? This way people who want to make several (or make them in the future) can still make/upgrade the back later on and those that don’t want to make the backpiece now (or ever) can get something from the blade shards they get (instead of probably just deleting them)?

I wouldn’t be surprised, actually, if a blade shard mining node didn’t become available as a meta-achievement reward at the end of the next LS. I am presuming people might need these to change the colour of their ascended back pieces going forwards etc.

But yes, it would be nice if these were tradeable, for both people who have so many they don’t know what to do with them and also for people who haven’t managed to get quite enough for their back piece(s).

No.

If they wanted them to be trade-able they simply wouldn’t have made them account-bound in the first place.

Unless its like one of the previous patch items (can’t remember the specific item). They’ve changed them before to be tradeable instead of account bound. Wish I could remember the specific item
