I’m really not following how this is ANet’s fault, nor problem. ANet doesn’t control the market, we do. If Tailoring is so expensive that’s not ANet’s fault it’s ours. That’s what supply and demand means. Obviously the demand for cloth is high, therefore it’s expensive.

Besides that, complaining about it like this isn’t going to do anything good. They’re more likely to increase the required mats in leatherworking to increase the price than they are to lower tailoring.

you’re right, I forgot that I programmed the game to:

1. Make silk bolts take 3 silk instead of 2
2. Made damask take 100 bolts of silk instead of 50 like all the other items
3. Made damask used in all 3 armor sets instead of just 1 like elonian and steel

we the players are so foolish for programming those things that made silk so expensive. That will learn us to do that again.

Well then I hope you learned your lesson. Next time don’t do that to everyone.

Law of supply and demand makes it so the lower supply and higher demand the more it costs. ANet has control over both. They made it super demanded due to Ascended Armor and it doesn’t drop enough to meet demand making the supply go ever lower and driving the price higher and higher.

Welcome into Hardcore Grinding Gear Wars 2.

Anet should really stop bug us like that with their stuff, its start to be quite ridiculous.
That’s btw why i will never craft any ascended stat. Tho that’s bad since i dont have access to the best stat because of that insane farm-craft.

whatever.

Furthermore – Anet does control the market. It’s a completely controlled market from top to bottom. Edit: in regards to supply available and demand shifted. We are merely allowed to use it.

Is this person really serious or trolling?

The problem is anet is now made up of islands or communities of departments and suffers from the lack of communication between them. The left hand is not talking with the right hand.

It’s not 100% controlled, we can still set our own prices, but it’s in no way a market economy.

Very true, I should amend that.
