I totally expect Canach to either escape or be freed so he can make a true heel-face turn and help defend LA (and from there become the Sylvari member of DE 2.0). It’s a plot twist you can see coming a mile away.
You people have it all wrong, NEW PLAYABLE RACE, Krait! With the introduction of the Krait as a playable race there will be a new hero added to our ranks and his name shall be…SSSSNAKE PLISSSKEN.

But what type of freedom? Freedom from prison with him still living, or is he going to sac himself for something (whether delaying Scarlet or her army for something/one, take a blade/bullet/magicwhatnot for someone), thus freedom from life?

Yes, I think I see. Taimi is Snaff’s daughter, she’ll travel to LA and give Scarlet the information she needs to be able to selectively disable magic anywhere in Tyria. Zojja will give us some fancy tech and send us into LA to kill Taimi and recover the data.
I can see how this ends, and I wouldn’t want to be a spellcaster, or someone living in Rata Sum.
One problem though — it’s 2014 now, Escape from LA was set in the terrifying future of 2013. Should have wrapped up this season before Wintersday.

E = Eyepatch.
Snake Plissken = Viper’s Medium Armor (has both a snake on the shoulder pad and an eye patch).
E seems to constantly come off as a stealthy thief-like character. Most of the new armor assets in the gemstore are used by NPCs in the story and the snake themed armour is not. Maybe E is going to be a Snake Plissken themed character wearing the viper armour?
