Consortium is a direct competitor with Blacklion Trading Company whos headquarters is on LA. LA aparently will be destroy ,leaving Blacklion Trading Co scatter, lost and decentralized. I woud go as far as they will disapear, but is allways a guy who will say they will move to xx or variants of that.
Mean while Consortium is still strongest as ever. So they might change the forum trading section to Consortium section

They plan to buy out the Black Lion Trading Company in the near future (see above). Does this suggest some sort of insider knowledge about, oh I don’t know, the impending destruction of the BLTC HQ and the likely death of its leader?
The person who convinced the Flame Legion and Molten Alliance to join forces was a “snake-nosed fast-talker from the city” (source). This does not fit Scarlet’s description, but this was assumed to have been retconned, or forgotten about…possibly until now. Ask yourself: who profited the most from the displacement of norn and charr in the Wayfarer Foothills and Diessa Plateau?I think you’ll find your answer on Southsun Cove…
I’m kind of disappointed we haven’t touched upon the Consortium ever since release. Would be nice to involve them more in the story.
The Consortium actually played major roles on the two Southsun Cove centered events and they are at Kessex Hills (or were, last time I checked).
But yeah, I want to see them more involved in the story. Now that Canach is around again (and not locked in some invisible cell) and Kiel totally ruined their plans, I would expect to see more of them. It would make sense if Noll tried to murder Canach, Kiel and the player, and it would give me yet another reason to hate him.

Not necessarily…just the end of the gem shop as run by Evon Gnashblade. With the Consortium taking control, we could see some big changes to the way it works and the available items.
let’s not forget that gnashblade is Expecting the destruction of lion’s arch.. so he probably has a contingency plan.. as for the consortium, while personally exploring tyria and visiting the consortium shop in lion’s arch, i thought it was somewhat interesting.. after the southsun installments though, it kind of cheapens the notion..

I think it would be amazing if for a time, the Consortium took over. So the TP would be renamed “Consortium Trading Post”, to show competition, and we have some side-stories with Evon to help regain Black Lion’s status.
On the way, we could find out more about the Consortium and what their agenda is. Ofcourse, I don’t feel we need to make the Consortium the bad guys, they always were the more grey area factions you both wanna help at some points, and other times stop them.
