How do you get it? Every time I attempt the stomp, I get knocked back. I try Plague-stomping and the stability gets stripped and I get knocked back anyway.

Okay, new question: how do you get in without beating the three watchknights or spinal blades?

You can line up on the side of scarlet, wait until the circle for the AoE appears, do a dodge roll to the side, and then immediately begin your stomp animation.
It may take some practice, but it’s totally doable without any special skills.
For a Necro, Spectral Walk may work. Teleport stomping works with other kinds of shadowsteps. Try to Spectral Walk in, begin stomp animation, and when AoE appears, Spectral Walk out to a safe location. That may preserve the stomp animation, not sure.

At the Diverse Ledges is a “backdoor” portal that any character equipped with any rarity of the Spinal Blades backpack can use to skip the giant holo fight, and go straight to the “Scarlet’s End” instance.

Invisibility won’t work on it, I know, I tried. Shadowstepping away the second the process starts and then returning when you’re about to completely stomp, on the other hand, will work. Though if you steal that invulnerability drink from an Aetherblade before entering, that’s much easier. Just make sure you don’t screw it up so you don’t have to steal another one.

The purple portal next to the tengu wall
You will need a character with the spinal blades attached to enter first time

So, either buy a lot of iron and craft a second one or beat the three bosses. Got it.
I’m trying Flesh Wurm+Spectral Walk to get it, but these cutscenes are annoying.

Nah, just practice the side-roll technique. Some player timed it. The time between her PBAoE is like 3.5-4 seconds. Stomp animation is three. If dodged right, it’s doable without special skills.

Can you enter with another character without spinal blades afterwards?
I’m having a hell of a time doing this with my necro, thinking of trying with my theif or mesmer.

To do so, you will need to defeat the 3 Assault Knights and succeed in the Hologram fight.

Thats just as annoying as continuously failing and having to repeat the cutscene ><’

The sad part about all this is I actually liked the cutscene, and the ending was pretty neat. The first time. Congratulations, the waste of time on repeated attempts to get this achievement (which I still have not been able to get, despite almost having it twice) due to the unskippable cutscene and the fact that I have yet to get a single loot drop from the knights – but that’s another issue altogether – have driven me to really hate this update despite enjoying the last one. I have no issue with trying for an achievement over and over if I screw it up, but having to sit through that cutscene EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. for a 10 second attempt is beyond frustrating. I’m about to just say to heck with doing any of the rest of the new content out of sheer annoyance. That’s not a good place to put a player in when it’s your big finale; I was invested but now I almost don’t even care because it just feels like a big waste of time with a severe lack of fun.

I loved the cutscenes as well, the first time. ANet screwed up by not making them skippable after the first run.
That said, been doing the “dodge to the side” trick—which hasn’t been working (her knockback goes off when there is still 1 second left in the stomp). Tried Flesh Wurm right next to her (stunbreak+teleport) with immediate stomp after the teleport. Again, no success.

Did it on my Mesmer. Utilities used were Blink, Signet of Inspiration, and Time Warp for the elite.
Placed time warp on top of Scarlet.
Simultaneously, Signet of Inspiration proc’d placing swiftness on me.
Blinked in front of Scarlet and started stomp.
Dodged left, then dodged right to go back in front of her.
Stomp again to completion.
All of the dodging and stomping is done under time warps haste.

I finally got it. Required dodging into the pillar. Definitely the most annoying achievement I’ve gotten.

The easiest way to get it is to go in with two people. Have one stand back and plink at her with a fast ranged attack, have the other run up to her, when they get close, she’ll try to knock them back, then you dodge roll, and run up to her again and stomp. The ranged auto will keep her from ever using the shield since it interrupts her. Also, both players will get the achieve

Which is unfortunately not the problem here. It’s the cutscenes that can’t be skipped.
