Arrest and interrogation would have made a lot more sense.

There are still 3 hostile armies out there – it would be nice to know details about who leads them and why, and what they were promised. Not to mention things like numbers, logistics, etc.

At this point, our heroes don’t know anything about any dragon, so it seems odd they wouldn’t want to know why Scarlet is drilling a great hole in LA.

Exactly my point Naevius. “Heroes” are like that, no thinking foward, no analizing, no taking into consideration other factors, only primal instincs: let’s kill it quickly and we’re done.
Aaaaaand booom. We are not done. A powerful Dragon woke up that will consume us all. What?! Where?! How?! Nevermind, let’s kill it.
I though Destiny’s Edge was annoying but this new Destiny’s Edge 2 is even more. Can’t wait to see them dead ;-]

I seriously doubt Scarlet would have actually told us why she did it even if Braham hadn’t been like “LOL no”. She’s crazy and cryptic, those types don’t tend to just spill their plans on a whim, especially when said plan was still ongoing even if she died (if her plan was indeed to wake the dragon). More likely she was just trying to buy time or have one last chance to toy with us.

I wasn’t satisfied because the answers to her motives as to how she did it all were not explained. I know of the recap but it would be nice if we could have found them within game. Also I believe it was the wrong decision to kill her off like that.

My Sylvari kind of had a crush on her as well.

Guild Wars 2 is not a sequel to the original Guild Wars but merely an alternative story setting.

Tbh, I imagine Braham was possibly thinking “K, this kitten has escaped how many times no from defeat? Yeah not this time!” and thus expected more tricks……….which she had, as we saw.

But this also raises a big question, when Scarlet saw the Eternal Alchemy, why did she find Mordemoth there? Why is the dragon linked with the Eternal Alchemy? How is it linked? And since she’s so bizarrely smart, why did she fell into such a trap that has the possibility to wake up a kitten dragon!? Was it that she thinks that the Pale Tree and the Elder Dragon needs to have a fight? To make them on equal ground and power? Makes sense if you look at it that way.

TL;DR: No.

There is no link between the dragon and the eternal alchemy. It was a mistake on Ceara’s part. She was deceived by the dragon.
