I agree. I’m sure if she asked politely enough he’d outright decide to change his entire view of the world. He’d also turn to helping the ones in need and spreading the teachings of Charr goddess of Love and Daisies.
That, or he’d laugh so hard that he’d die of a heart attack. Either way it’s a win-win for Kiel.

Uhh, Kiel was at the red knight, along with heal o tron. and evon shut down the gates on escaping people, he kind of deserved it. She also warned her fellow captains, which you can meet them all in the camps.

And on the Hologram.

But we ended up doing all the work for her AGAIN. As expected from a person who can’t handle the responsibilities of her elected position.

The holograms never killed me. I was in the middle of the fight, dodging and weaving my way to victory. Kiel hid in a corner while Hobo-tron saved my guildies.

Not sure if you are stupid or just act like you are. If you are not lying about kiel hiding in a corner (which would be just sad), it’s probably because her AI bugged.

Just to help clarify, it is well documented about the incident with Evon and the asura gate during the Escape from Lion’s Arch release.

I will post this again for clarity’s sake as well. Now, who shut down the gates?

Shud shut down the “gates” but Evon shut down that one singular gate. Pretty clearly. I don’t know how Gnashblade shut it down (and neither does Shud, so obviously it wasn’t her). Maybe he smashed key parts of the other gate, maybe he told Shud’s assistants on the other side it was an order from her. Only the devs know.

iirc, there was only one gate at the gate hub standing in Under Attack, so I’m not sure why it would even be a concern that the enemy gets through them into other cities. Perhaps in the initial attack, Shud shut down the remaining gates to other cities (some of them getting destroyed after the fact), leaving one open for evacuation in our evacuation instance.

It makes no sense that Shud says she closed “gates” when only one working gate in the hub remained. If she was referring to that one controversial gate, I would think she’d go with the singular “the city’s asura gate”. Therefore, she must have closed more than just that one, and since a plural form can’t specify which specific gates she means, it’s still absolutely obvious from her confusion after Evon leaves that she didn’t close that one.

Other gates Shud closed possibly included the makeshift portals in and out of the city to Gendarran, Lornar’s and Bloodtide when the miasma gets too thick, the WvW gates, the Fractals gate and the Southsun gate.

So all this means the only one that had behaved and done a great job was Hobo-tron. Therefore he should be member of the captain’s council and/or owner of black lion trading company since Kiel is incompetent and Evol is just selfish kitten.

Meh, Keil isn’t any more or less useless than Rurik, Togo, or Kormir. Leave those sorry idiots alone for 10 seconds – they die, you get booted, you have to start all over. At least Keil stays out of the way.. (for the most part)

She did play her part though. Like others have said, she was at red knight (with a commander tag ta boot) and she was there during the holo fight. She and heal-o-tron rezzed ppl close enough to them. So… not totally useless…

I disagree, Master Togo was pure genius, never died (well until the end) but his monster aggroing powers killed so many parties…

Oh man, I had soooo many issues with him and Mehnlo getting stuck in Vizunah. Not to mention, the aggro happy idiot and the pop ups behind him while the rest of the team was trying to clear the mobs from the other various spawn points.

And Tahnnakai Temple… sigh

The way I think of this Kiel could have done much worse to evon then simply conscript (draft) him and all black lion personal into the Lionguard which was a reasonable move, The Lionguard needed supplies Evon had them would you expect anything more if this was real life, The Lionguard (Lion’s arch Military [armed forces]) had very few supplies to begin with did it look like the seraph were jumping in to help, Nope they where there to arrest Heal-O-tron. Do we know if Evon Really shut off the gate Nope, Evon was the last to go through. Did Kiel Fight Yes she did. Was Evon able to fight No but he did play a role as a supply source. Did kiel threaten Him (Evon) Yes and No, Yes Kiel Sent the order V.I.A. Lionguard troop but we don’t know if Kiel ordered the message to be sent in the words the Lionguard used, The Lionguard is the one that threatened Evon. I hope this long kitten post clears a little bit of the air.
