Is there any way to do this one right? It’s the mission in Southsun Cove where you have to collect golem parts while wurms burrow below. I can’t figure out a way to do this one “right.” I’ve completed it a few times, but it’s always complete luck of the draw. If I get hit once, I’m dead. No hope of survival because they will finish me off well before i can recover. If they don’t hit me, I can survive, but whether they do or don’t seems completely random. Oh, sure, I can try to avoid them, dodge roll whenever I have to pass one, but there are way too many and they travel way too fast for me to keep that up indefinitely. There are also not near enough golem parts to “speed run” it in one circuit, often less than half the parts available that you need to complete it.

So as near as I can tell, completing or dying in this event is completely impossible to control, if the game wants to kill you, there’s nothing you can do about it short of ignoring it completely. Is there actually some method for surviving the Wurm attacks?

I’ve done it solo before too, but it’s always luck of the draw. Sometimes the Wurms pop out and kill you instantly, sometimes they don’t, you can make it less likely that this will happen, but it’s pretty much impossible to avoid them completely, so you can only hope that you’ll be lucky and they will choose not to emerge as you pass over.
