Guild Wars 2

So the story started 2 days ago – For the first time in 3 months I accidently noticed that the dynamic volcano event in Mount Maelstrom went active. The volcano wasn’t silent anymore. Me and my two guild mates immediatly rushed into the volcano to destroy some destroyers (pun not intended). All of a sudden a message appeared:

“A new build is available. Game will restart in 3 minutes.”

After the restart the event was gone (of course) – “what a bad luck… We really have to do this again because it looked kind of awesome!”

Two days later – just some minutes ago: “Ok guys – Mount Maelstrom almost completed and it is past midnight – lets see if the volcano is up – else we go to sleep.”

Suprise: The volcano event was up – we destroyed the destroyers in the south. We really had a hard time against this golem in the north of the volcano. But we did it with only 3 players!! We were really happy to get this far and started to rush into the volcano again…

10 seconds past until:
“A new build is available. Game will restart in 3 minutes.”

Oh really? Is this some ingame server trolling by A-Net??? So you don’t have an awesome finish for that volcano event and restart it everytime someone rushes into the mountain? Can someone tell me a time tomorrow evening when this event is up and the servers will NOT restart?

At least the decision is easy now: Go to sleep

I realy like that event, did it a few times.

Now if only the shadow behemoth would show its ugly face, I’d be happy lol

The new build issue is surely really annoying, but what much more annoying is that I can’t even find a person to do all three phases with me on my server. It takes years for finding other people, even though there is a good chance of getting destroyer weapons.

Yeah, there’s a nice chest at the end of this one. But it really does take a group of people to finish off the event.
