Hello guys. I’ ve opened this topic becouse I’ d really like to know in which server people usually farm southsun cove events. I need to buy settler gear from those merchants who spawn after Killing the karka queen..may you help me?^ Unfortunatly my server is kinda empty..and noone plays in the Cove.

That isn’t going to be very useful information. You need to get there before the queen spawns when all 4 camps are being held. People farming the queen aren’t going to bother defending the settlements. If you are only after the merchant you don’t need a lot of people, the main issue will be the champion at Captain’s Retreat.

The merchants are always there. They only offer the settlers gear when all four settlements are cleared. It then takes about 5 minutes for the queen to spawn and that’s the time you should buy your gear. The NE settlement is usually the last one cleared and you should buy your stuff there. Steampipe steading gets really dangerous.

You probably need to say where your servers are located. I know that Gandara (EU) sees the queen taken down on an irregular basis when a guild feels like giving it a go. You probably need to find a guild on a different server that takes the queen down more regularly.

3-5 people should be enough to get it to spawn.

5 people if they are good and skilled and organized and carry a touch of luck.

10 if you want more of a sure thing (with a tough fight at Camp Karka)
20 if you want it to roll ahead without difficult roadblocks (10 to camp karka, 10 to the east 2 camps, rolling in to support camp karka after they finish)

1 commander with a pin and a faithful zerg that loves chasing world events.

Any of the above will suffice.

Be on Blackgate a couple minutes before reset.

Anyone know if anyone will be doing the events anytime soon?

Weekends,especially after reset. Looks like some servers do big events like clockwork on a saturday after reset.

Maybe find a commander that does these and friend him. Check your friends list occasionally to see if he’s doing that and then join up.

Try asking in LA for names of commanders who do these on a regular basis. If no one on your server does them, guest to another server and ask there.

We run this event on the blackgate server at reset. Be there about 10 minutes before reset.

The Karka event is run several times a day on the BG server but we have a goal that will run it at reset if the event is available.
