There is a concern I had for some time. Why the meta event “The battle of ascalon city” has not a chest on finish?

Each of the starting areas has a meta event with a reward. Queensdale has the Behemoth, Caledon has the wurm, Metrica the Fire Elemental and Wayfarer Foothils has the Frozen Maw, but Plains of Ashford, where we humble Chars start our game, has no “big meta-event where dozens of players unite to fight a mighty foe”. I gess The Battle of ascalon city may be this event but I’ve never seen much people playing it as the do the other events, and that is because this one has no reward.

So, does anyone know if there is a good reason why there is no event with a chest on finish on Plains of Ashford?

They were concerned the armour wasn’t severe enough punishment for players choosing charr.
