Is it just me, or is the “search” thing completely broken?

For example… searching the guild recruitment forum for the word “guild” finds one result. Searching for the word “social”, which is contained in one of the forum topics, returns zero results.

Am I doing it wrong, or is the search box really about as useful as a chocolate teapot?

It’s known. Best to use google in the meantime, as funny as that sounds.

These forums need a lot of work. It’s a shame, because the search function being in working order would lighten the load of mods/cut down on repeat topic threads.

I love this game but wonder about this myself.

There are 2 things which I think are essential fixes that have never been given the time of day by the developers: forum search and sorting armor by light/medium/heavy on the TP.

Their lack of action on these basic things astounds me. No seriously. I am astounded.

Not exactly true. The forum search used to work. It stopped working, and after some time, the Dev(s) responsible for Forum/Website fixed it. It worked for a short time, and bugged out again. They stated they can not seem to find the problem, or that the problem didn’t show up for them (I’m a little fuzzy on that part, and don’t really feel up to searching for it, though it is in the Forum/Website sub-forum).

Not much has been stated since that time, so we don’t really know if they are still working on it, or it’s now lower on the priority list.
