I was looking at a post i made on a topic i made a week ago asking a question. people were responding and i was responding to their responses as normal. the topic itself is unimportant, and the topic was over and buried later that day. i went back to check incase someone else posted, only to find that one of the posts i made had a message i did not place
this message was, and i Emphasize i did not say this.

“I AM A GOLD SPAMMER. PLEASE REPORT ME WITH THE FLAG IN THE BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER”

no spammer would put such a message up, but my post said it, which could cause idiots to report me or anyone who has this message forced onto their posts.

the message was capitalized like that and overwrote a portion of my post. i went in to edit my post only to find this message was not there. after ending the edit, the message was gone completely.

i dont know what happened or why, but clear as day. a portion of my post was overwritten with the above message without my permission, approval, or even input. the forums did not register it was there at all when i edited the comment, and finishing the edit removed it.

unconfirmed: i do not know if others can see this false edit or not. the forum post was buried after all.

Post i made was displaying fake message which would cause people with no understanding of logic to report me.
the message did not show up on the edit option
the message was 100% gone after the edit option was saved and closed.
could be a hacking tool or exploit on the forums

This happens if someone posts pvp_bank without the “_”

It is a really weird thing for sure.

It is part of the filter to discourage Gold Sellers. It’s automatic, just like ‘kitten’ replaces other inappropriate words. Even if you were reported, nothing would happen as the Mods would be able to see why the message occurred.
