“A message you posted has been moved to another forum”

Follow the new thread here.

If you’ve ever seen messages like this before, you’re probably wondering the same thing: “What?”

Whenever a moderator moves a thread, the system doesn’t give us a notification what our post was, or which message was moved.

In addition, it sometimes tells us to follow a thread in a place which normal users cannot access.

As a normal user, I am confused.

Whenever a thread has been deleted, you will get that message. Just by mousing over the link, you can see it goes to the Trash can. They could use a different message for moves to the Trash can, and that would be less confusing.

I completely agree, I have been puzzled by that messages before and a clearer message would be nice.

Or maybe at least once you navigated to “trash” have a message of the week there.

“Stop rummaging in the trash!”

“We are sorry, but the thread you are looking for is forever unavailable.”

etc

“Whose Kitten is this?” – “It’s a Charr baby.”
“Whose Charr is this?”- “Ted’s.”
“Who’s Ted?”- “Ted’s dead, baby. Ted’s dead.”
