Search not working
same issue for me, using Opera
Same here. The search function does work neither in Opera, nor in Firefox.
I also use Opera, and the search works for me only on the forum front page. If I try to search on a subforum, it just searches forever and no results are shown.
the search function in the game bugs section (incorrectly titled spielbugs for me) does not work for me either, the search function of the forum bugs does (it’s how i got here)
Doesn’t work for me either, not in Chrome.
I even…tried in IE, not working.
I’m using chrome on my Android phone, and it’s working. I’ll try later at home on my desktop. What terms were you searching on? I put in “quote” for this forum and all the posts I expected to find showed up.

It also does not work for Dolphin browser on my android. I am pretty sure I got it to work on IE by clicking the magnified glass icon, enter didn’t work though.

Every character I type starts a search. Then I have to click in the search box again to regain focus and type a second letter….on and on. Impossible to use.
I placed this same info in another, new thread because I cannot search the forum to see if there are answers. No response from ANET.
Search does not work at all in Firefox.
Additionally, Search does not work when rendering (Firefox developer function to allow IE to process the site as opposed to Firefox) in IE.
I also tried on different versions / OS combinations with Firefox and it is still broken.
This is really vexing.
Not working properly for me in either IE or Chrome. Sometimes does, sometimes doesn’t, can’t tell why.

Have you checked you’re logged in when searching.
You can still view the forums whilst not logged in but need to log in to search them. I spent a while wondering why search wasn’t working for me before I realised this.
Not saying this is the only reason search doesn’t work but perhaps explains why sometimes it’s working for you and sometimes it isn’t
Oh my…! Searching works without a hitch when logged on…How stupid is that when you can’t “stay logged in” even.
