I notice that every time I come back to the forum I need to login again.

Is this intentional or are there plans to code in a ‘stay logged in’ function.

As even just navigating away and and closing my browser for a few mins I need to relogin again.

Yes, please add this. It seems to work okay for a day but only sometimes. I can come back after leaving the site and it will work, yet other times I have to log back in.

Cant commandline a website unless you script the browser.

Much easier on there end to code or activate the feature in whatever forum software there using or code it if they made there own forum.

If we can’t “stay logged in,” could we maybe get an option to save our password? I’ve read that saving your password is more secure than entering it every time — don’t know how accurate that is, but it’s certainly more convenient.

It remembers my password. I still have to click log in twice, but I don’t have to type it.

Don’t understand how having it auto log in is less secure than how my password is already saved and I have to manually transmit it every time I come here, though.

Cookies phishing and various vulnerabilities exploits. Yahoo users may have a word with you about how their credentials were stolen by using the “stay logged in” option.

But could you at least make it so that if we log in on the main GW2 website and click on the button for the forum, we don’t have to log in again? It’s pretty annoying this way.

That’s poor reasoning and excuse. What you’re doing is instead of allowing people to keep logged in is using 3rd party programs to auto-login some which take and use those passwords if they don’t use a built in one. Setting a cookie that states they can talk on the forums compromises nothing if you force a double check at clicking “My Account” after a set amount of time or the next time they close their browser. There is really no excuse to not do this.

Good example is Amazon. You can do some of the basics (add things to wish list, add to discussions, review) when using their website but when it comes time to get to my account it does that double check which clears the second you close out of your browser.
