Please explain why.

Mechanics require organization but it has no tools to encourage organization.

Therefore, instead of a 10 minute run, it will take 45 minutes- 1 hour to complete.

more like 45 minutes 1-hour to kill a single boss.

One time I was in there (mapchat off) and it was boss blitz 5 bosses left. Did some gauntlet, hour+ later… 4 bosses left.

A few hours later (like… 2-4 hours) finally it ended. It’s like the Miasma events in it’s very obvious huge mobs scale it to the point of taking forever and thus cutting the rewards. I’m surprised people can’t figure it out and start splitting into smaller groups more easily… but the same happened during the miasma events if there was no commanders/vocal people on mapchat herding the mob…

I’ve just experienced the worst part of the Crown Pavillion – Dead instances: The map is stuck on bronze, 5 or 6 bosses still remaining, and all of them scaled up to handle the zerg that was there who knows how long ago, with only a few survivors sticking around trying to figure out what to do about the mess.

This is what i see whenever i go to try the gauntlet. Dead. I even try to leave the instance, wait a bit and get back in again, to see if i find ppl trying to do it properly.
Guess i was lucky enough during the weekend, to find a few groups of ppl who were willing to try and organize it. We did silver severel times and almost got gold a few other times. Was fun!

Will try LFG tool next time i go in there.

If you want good rewards, then you have to work for it. No more Queensdale afk #1 all day spam anymore(which is good).

Seriously, just go put “LF taxi Blitz” into the LFG tool and I guarantee you’ll find a group willing to taxi you within a few minutes. Or if you’re a commander: put up “LF more commanders for Blitz”.

so just because you put LF taxi Blitz in lfg, that makes it better than 1 spam?

if that’s the way it suppose to be, just let us create instance raid. and stop with this open world non sense, since it’s turning into an instance raid anyway, with very lacking organize tool to keep people organized.

Thats very big part of it. If i want raiding theres games that got that to perfection and, simply put, its a waste of development time in GW2.

Look at Blitz. Bosses are super simple, theres absolutely minimalistic effort required to beat them over 1111111. In fact, they are mostly still beaten with 111111, no matter who does it.

Eventually, a few people managed to rally in the ‘dead’ instance, and focus on getting enough people together to take on one boss… and then we somehow became a massive zerg by the end. But at that point, we were already Bronze, so it didn’t matter how long it took to clean up the map, as long as it was cleaned.

The big communication problem I’m seeing in the Pavillion is a case of “Who, Me?!” and “Where’s the problem and who should be the one to fix it?” Yes, we know to split up to fight the bosses – but when we do, we end up with 15 people on one boss (Most of whom have no idea what they’re doing), 10 on another, 12 on a third, 25 on the fourth, 5 on the 5th, 0 on the last, and a bunch in the center – and nobody knows there’s nobody on the last boss, or that the 5th is grossly underpopulated (And most of them don’t know the fight itself), the one with 25 aren’t aware that they’re grossly overconcentrated (Or worse, are on Boom Boom), and the ones in the center don’t know that any of the bosses are in a problematic situation. Map chat tries giving information, and that usually results in the population redistributing itself so that when the 5th calls for help, it gets an entire zerg rush and leaves the first nearly empty (But pulls the 4th down to a reasonable number), and when someone calls out the 6th is empty, it gets 2 or 3 that spend the rest of the Silver timer getting wiped.

And then the one with 12 takes its boss down before Gold expires, thinking the others are close.

Its a total mess isnt it?
If the event information on top of your screen had the 6 bosses status bars and a number next to each bar representing the total players in that boss area, it would be so simple to organize.
Unfortunately, we have to do that using map chat. But some people, specially here in Europe, dont understand english. And some don’t even read map chat.

After over an hour doing the boss blitz, the rewards were about a half-dozen greens, a few tickets and that’s it. A complete failure of a reward.

I bet you would wanted to see tons of exotics and rares isnt it? Wake up, cuz if the drop rate would have been bigger, with the thousands of ppl getting rares/exotics, then that would have mess up the economy a bit.

Still, it’s actually the same problem as Evolved jungle wurm. There’s one district, that remains full like 24/7, with people farming over and over. And Failure districts, with people managing to do the event after an hour from time to time..
Everytime i logged past days, i had 6 boss up almost all the time, with a bronze reward indicator.

Obviously, you can’t expect 3 exotics per success, but there’s still some problem i believe..
