Currently pretty inactive, but I’ll be kitten ed if I miss an LS meta. Every LS up to this point has had the meta available for 4 weeks, so is “Fractal Fortnight” really only available for 2 weeks, so expiring on Tuesday, or was that title used entirely for alliteration purposes being the main update for the 2 weeks?

I don’t know – but you can get the meta very quickly. Say 2 or 3 Fractal runs?

If you’re lucky with the RNG on fractal selection. I know some people who have done 20+ runs and have not gotten dredge yet. Blessing or curse depending on who you ask. It would have been better to not do the tiered fractal selections but just increase the probability of the easier ones showing up more often.

You can get it without getting every single achieve in it thanks to dailies. I still have at least one fractal/boss that hasn’t popped (grawl and molten boss, iirc) and I got the meta — I think I only had 2 or 3 fractal sessions to do it, too.

Pretty much this I still haven’t seen dredge or snow blind since the patch, and only gotten to Solid Ocean yesterday or the day before that – long after I got the meta.

I finished the meta, but I’ve been trying to get Swamp and Underground fractals for days now. They are the only 2 in Fractured that are not filled in.

If I can’t get them by tomorrow night I’ll just stop trying and let it go.

just reset the fractal till you get swamp. And then invited people. And then be glad you haven’t done underground yet.

Yeah getting the tier 1 fractals is easy, because as said, you can just re-roll till you get one you need. I have done probably 15 runs and still haven’t got volcanic; only one I am missing. The meta is easy to get though as you only need 11 (I think).

Additionally, there are some added achievements in the ‘fractals’ tab under ‘dungeons’ that were added with the latest fractals, but those should be there forever to do.

Heh. Similar issue. Got the meta, but so far I haven’t been able to start the ‘Snowblind’ and ‘Molten Might’ fractal. And I’ve been doing a full fractal run per day (on nearly all days). Gotta love RNG sometimes.

I had the hardest time getting the two Molten Fractals to spawn for me. (9 Fractal runs. 1 Molten, 3 Jade, FIVE Mai. -_-) I finally lucked out yesterday and got the Molten Facility. Now I can relax and do Fractals when the mood strikes me (although I still need the secondary achievements for the new Fractals).

The main problem is that some of the Fractals only spawn in a single band (Swamp, Aquatic, Snowblind, Molten Facility, Aetherblade, Thaumanova and Underground). I don’t think anybody’s complaining about Underground being rarer, and Swamp and Aquatic can be easily re-rolled as they’re in the first band, but getting the remaining four can be a real pain.

A fortnight is by definition 2 weeks. Given anet’s track record with fractals naming maybe this is a month =P

Got the Underground fractal tonight to my surprise. I was in a solid group so they carried me and were able to clear it, while showing me the ropes. After the Jade Maw fractal I jumped back into Fractals solo until I got Swampland and started another group and BAM last 2 I needed done with! Sooo glad I lucked out with RNG for a change.

Tip for those who need a quick one more: daily fractal runner is currently bugged in that it will randomly give it to you when you enter a fractal. So if you go roll fractals, you’ll be able to complete it without having to actually do the fractal. Today I got it on my first roll; yesterday it took six rolls.

Same here ! I’ve been running Fractals on a regular basis, and the only level I’m missing in the achievements panel is the Jade Maw ; somehow I’m almost always getting Mai Trin (which is actually much quicker, so I wouldn’t mind if there wasn’t an achievement tied to the specific levels), and sometimes the Fusion duo.

I’ve got the Meta, but I’ve got ALL the achievements for temporary events since the beginning of the game (including Liadri 8 orbs, Crab Toss, etc.) so I would be really annoyed if I missed that one just because of RNG levels

Given the fact that the Nightmare Within is still active, I’m really hoping that Fractured will continue for another week or two. At this point I’ll just sort something with guild mates to “swap” spots in the 4th fractal to get the achievement.
