The DJO is looking for an active, deserving Guild Wars 2 outfit to add to its community.
DJO is a Gaming Community that has been around for over 15 years now, that is home to various individual clubs (or gaming divisions) under a single domain. However, we are not simply a club hosting service. Think of us as a club OF clubs.
Our members are held to a high standard and some of our clubs have become some of most respected organizations in their games. In addition to being a home for gamers of every play style, our staff (made entirely of volunteers from the membership) provides a completely free home and a wealth of services to our clubs, including:
- Webspace and a short url (yourclubinitials.darkjedi.org)
- Community Teamspeak Server, as large as the community requires, with admin over a section you can expand to your liking
- Web and graphics design support
- Customizable Forums (we call them Comlinks)
- Comprehensive Member Profile and Awards system, allowing you to give your members all manner of campaign ribbons and medals
- Access to a broad community stretching across many games, genres, and generations of gamers
For some examples of what you can do with your club in our community, take a look at one of our Star Wars: The Old Republic guilds The Imperial Ground Forces and our Star Trek Online clan the 15th Phoenix Guard.
Right now, DJO doesn’t have any significant support for Guild Wars 2, and it’s something we’d like to see our community expand to. That’s why we’re opening up to applications from the Guild Wars 2 community for an existing and established guild to move in with us and become our official Guild Wars 2 Gaming Division. You keep your club name, identity, ranks, and whatever else, but get all the benefits of being part of our larger community. You can read more details here.
At this time, we are open to accepting up to one deserving and interested guild into our community.

- Club Name – Your club’s name
- Abbreviation – Your club’s guild-tag
- Current Website – We’d like to see what you’ve done with what you have now, if you have one
- Current Active Membership – Be honest. Active for this question means someone who has posted on your boards within the last month, and/or been seen online and representing your guild within the last month
- General Club History – You don’t have to write a book, but we would like to know a bit about how your club got started, how long it’s been around, and the nature of it
- Contact Info – We’re going to want to talk to you if we’re considering you, so please give us an e-mail address and preferably some sort of IM (xfire, steam, etc) that we can reach you at, as well as a good time to catch you on
- Why You Want to Join – Self-explanatory, but why you’re interested in moving into the Org
If you are interested, please don’t delay! Depending on the quality and volume of applications, we will make our selection within 1-2 weeks.
