Mission Statement

Senility is a multi-gaming guild and aims to be a casual guild for the adult gamer. We all lead busy lives with our work and family commitments – that at the end of the day we want a stable and competitive guild, without the fear of being dismissed or berated for prioritising our real life responsibilities over those of gaming in general.

Senility is not a hard-core guild. We are tailored to the working adult and/or parent who cannot afford to spend countless hours on an MMO when life’s priorities demand our attention. Senility offers an adult community that specialises in casual play for adults who want to enjoy MMO’s without the pressures and time demands that other guilds sometimes inadvertently place on their members.

We are based in the New Zealand time zone and cater to New Zealanders, Australians, US-West Coast players, Canadians and Americans. We are also welcome to the European community that feel our guild philosophy is a good fit for them.

The age requirement is a measure to ensure maturity within the guild. It does not mean all under 18 are immature, it just plays the odds.

Of course we are also open to people who like to play during the weekday and week day evenings.

In short our guild offers the casual, laid back, & good natured enjoyment of MMO’s with like-minded adults. If you have yet to find a guild that feels like it is a good fit for both your personal and virtual life, please consider becoming a member of Senility!

We are looking for a PVE leader. Someone to help organise events, motivate members and get events going – mainly at the weekends – but evening weekday runs may suit some members.

PVE leader needs to have some patience, realise we are not a hard-core guild and that everything we do is for fun.

Senility has just formed an ingame Alliance with a US based adult guild on Sea of Sorrows. Brothers of Armageddon [BOA].

This gives members from both guilds more opportunities to do ingame events without feeling the need to guild hop and represent other guilds.

We are looking for more members that love WvW. We are saving up for our own commander – but currently voice comms helps us organise our team.

Just to show how fun we can be…we made our own version of the Harlem Shake – senile style!

We have our first commander! Commander’s are valuable assests to have not only for just WvW but for all the PvE fun we have in game.

With the implementation of guild missions, Senility is looking for active loyal guild members that are wanting a home.

In order to provide guild missions and guild boosts we need members to represent so we can earn the influence to be able to activate these.

Currently we have around 20-40 active members over a 24 hour time period and this figure is higher a the weekends.

We are friendly, warm and welcoming.

We also have a guild to guild alliance with a US based guild and are looking at forming other such alliances.

We would just like to point out with the demise of the bigger guilds (400+ members) transferring off the server due to their WvW stresses and demands, that Senility also does WvW. We have our own commander who basically lives and breathes WvW – Sugar and Cream.

We don’t stress about tactics – but have fun doing WvW. It is a game after all.

If anybody is looking for a place to grow in WvW we welcome you to Senility if you pass our age requirement. We have a small WvW team – and are looking at growing that over time with more commanders and more members covering all timezones.

We are also happy for smaller adult guilds with less than 30 members to merge with our guild or form alliances with us. Whichever option they prefer. We already have a well established alliance with a US based guild on the server and always welcoming more.

Hey guys, very interested in becoming a member of this guild

Your guild sounds ideal for me. I am a (mumble, mumble) year old mum to 2 teenage boys. My youngest son got me into gaming in a very limited way a few years ago. I am very new to GW2 but totally love it. At the moment I have a Lvl 80 Sylvari Ranger and a Lvl 2 Mesmer. I have joined 2 guilds since beginning to play, and chose small ones because I thought there would be less aggro/hassle. Trouble is there is also no-one ever online to answer questions or do events. Would love to try a dungeon but no luck with that so far Please message me in game if you are still recruiting. Am happy to help others if they need help. And would welcome guidance from more experienced players about how to get the most out of GW2. Also I’m an Aussie so the time zone etc will suit me well.

We now also have a WvW team on Eredon Terrace and weclome all ET WvW’ers to join our guild. We also love all you PVE’ers also.

We still also do WvW on SOS and all PVE.

I wish that the oceanic players weren’t all spread out with the paid transfers =/
