I loved all the bonus arenas in Guild Wars 1 – Costume brawl, Snowball and Dragon arena – all three of them rocked. I used to play them constantly I managed to get the Gosu Skillz title which was pretty rare back in the day before I stop playing Guild Wars 1 altogether.
When Haloween event was announced I was really looking forward to Costume Brawl in GW2 – was thinking we are going to get something similar to Costume Brawl from GW1 with shrine capping, winning streaks but with famous GW2 characters instead.
My disappointment level is unimaginable.
Costume Brawl in GW1 was a tactical cap battle with default set of skills, here we get a complete chaos where players (mostly invisible due to rendering) stand in front of each-other and spam buttons.
I love GW2, but new Costume Brawl just sucks. No tactics, no fun. I hope Anet won’t ruin snowball and dragon arenas
