Post here if you are stuck at 3/5 achievements for Emissary of the mad king achievement, despite having completed 4/5 required achievements.

Which one didnt you get credit for?

Yup. I’ve completed everything but “Attend the party”, but it only says 3/5. I honestly don’t know which one didn’t count, I only noticed recently.

You didn’t get credit for Mad King’s World or whatever, my guess. Go to the bug forums and look around, theres a thread floating around about it. That achievement seems broken.

It would be nice to have a dev commenting on this, so we know whether it’s a bug or if there’s some kind of hidden achievement or something.

Update: I myself got credit for 5/6 achievements (all but attend the party completed). Something isn’t working properly.

Go to the three zones of the labyrinth and into the MKT dungeon. Even just going in and out nets you it.

OT: It’s a bug. Mine says 4/5, but I got mine before act 3 deployed.

Enter all the activities through the Labyrinth boatman. I don’t think entering the through the people scattered around the world counts.

I have 3/5 and have completed everything but the clock tower which is said to not count and Attend the Party.

It’s definitely a bug. I actually completed all four of the achievements counted towards the title after Act 3, so I don’t think it’s necessarily tied to the act. However, it is a bug because mine says 4/5.

yep, i have completed 5 achievements but its only counting 4. It would just be nice if the tool tips would spell out these things like “this achievement does not count towards the emissary of the mad king meta-achievement”.

If you have 4/5 then you aren’t bugged. You don’t need the fix.

The party has not occurred yet.

Clock tower and carving do not apply.

1. Eat candy corn.
2. Hunt monsters.
3. Door events.
4. Explore Mad King realm.

Been that way since yesterday (I’ve logged in and out 3 times since then). :/

I’ve had the same bug since the first three events. I’ve scoured websites and forums and there doesn’t look to be a solution. I wrote up a bug and sent it in. Hopefully enough people do it to get it fixed.

I have the same problem everything except pumpkin carving are done (supposed to not count) but it still says 3/5

Mine shows 4/5, not sure what’s holding your’s up.

I was first stuck at 2/5 when other people had 3/5 with the same achievements and now I am stuck at 3/5. I hope it all gets fixed with getting the last achievement.

I think it may have something to do with the "Halloween Huntin’ " achievement. I could have sworn I got that one the first day and lost a tier on the second.

Same for me, made a bug report and a post here couple of days ago, so far, nothing…

I had to participate and finish at least one round of the 2 pvp games in the mad king’s realm to get the 4th achievement. Win or lose didn’t matte, and just popping in and back out didn’t give credit either. I had to participate.

I’m glad I’m not the only one with this issue.

I’m also stuck at 3/5 for the achievement, despite having done everything except for ‘Attend the Party’ and ‘Pumpkin Carving’. I sincerely hope that ArenaNet will look into this. Perhaps by adding a fix to the update for Act 4?

I should have 4/5 left with just the Attend the Party achievement needed for completion, but it still says 3/5. The 3 I haven’t completed are Pumpkin Carving, the Clock Tower and Attend the Party. Working on Pumpkin Carving though just in case it’s necessary for Emissary of the Mad King as well for some reason.

Figured it’d be a good idea to link the two threads on the Halloween Event and the Game Bugs boards.

Seeing as how ‘Pumpkin Carving’ and ‘Mad King’s Clock Tower’ don’t count, and ‘Attend the Party’ can’t be gotten yet, that leaves 4 possibilities. Personally I went from 2/5 to 3/5 after doing the Ascend to Madness dungeon, so I think that ’It’s a Mad King’s World’ works as it should.
That leaves: ‘Halloween Huntin’, ‘Halloween Events Completed’ and ‘Trick or Treat Bags Opened’ as the 3 possible culprits.

I have a feeling it’s either ‘Halloween Huntin’ or ‘Trick or Treat Bags Opened’. ‘Halloween Huntin’ because some people remarked that they didn’t get the mark for it, and the trick or treat bags because of the personalized trick or treat bags that maybe didn’t count towards the achievement. And both achievements had their number requirements upped.

Which one do you think is bugged and what can we do about it?

Stuck on 4/5 as well. So are we not gonna get it at all? I have everything done.

Also stuck on 4/5 now that I have attended the party and got that achievement. So now I’m sat on all of the achievements done except for the Clock Tower jumping puzzle. I’ve tried relogging since I got to 4/5, I’ve tried restarting my client, I’ve tried switching characters, I’ve tried everything I can think of and still I sit here on 4/5.

Can we get a red post on this issue please? Some of us really busted our humps to go after this title and we just want the proper credit for it.

As Kaarnak says it would be nice to have a Dev make some sort of reply, people have put in a fair bit of time to get these achievements!

For those who are missing an achievement, did you also participate for at least one round in Reaper’s Rumble and the Lunatic instance?

I did Denver and still it’s 4/5 and no title
