Guild Wars 2

Has anyone discovered a point to this game? I love trying to get all the emotes (although quite often, the emote choices wont show up…), but is there any reason to participate? Increased drops, weaker king, or anything similar?

A friend of mine said that it effects the amount of mobs that spawn during the event. I didn’t see much of a difference but it is fun regardless.

Yeah I think when I tried to solo it, more mobs spawned each time I screwed up an emote. I died pretty quickly regardless, but still had fun Also my character would start dancing without any input from me when the Mad King said dance, made me literally laugh out aloud!

if you do as he says quickly enough, you get your weapons back and can defend yourself from the mobs, that’s the point of it. I’m pretty sure that’s all there is to it, nothing to do with the mob spawns or anything else.

do it correctly so u can fight the spawns faster.

And if you don’t do it correctly, you’ll still get your weapons back, but you fall down and take some damage. :P
