The Devil is in The Details
I’m absolutely loving this too.
I thought the initial art was awesome, but seeing it gradually change is incredible. Probably my favorite part of the whole event so far.
+1 for not a topic about Black Lion chests, entitlement, or a complaint!
I did not notice this thank you for pointing it out to me! I will make sure to check that out and look for more in the future
The asura and quaggan children trick or treating are flipping ADORABLE.
saw the moon last night as I was swimming towards the dive board. I wsl like wth was that always there? Also the Lion to me seems to “decay” for lack of better words.
Loving all the details
I’m loving Halloween so far, but I have a doubt: is the event (decorations, NPC dialogues, etc) going to happen only in LA, or is it going to be global?
Of course there should be a central point to it, but I’d love to see The Grove (my hometown) more in touch with the holidays.
I’m wondering if LA is going to become the central themed area to keep everyone together and interacting… and of course, to deck out the other cities as well as LA would be a massive undertaking. I would definitely applaud them more then I have already though (which is quite a bit).
and if you gaze into the abyss, the abyss gazes also into you.”
@Pedroso – Due to the amount of time needed to design such large areas, I would not expect any other cities to get the same kind of overhaul Lion’s Arch received, at least, not this first year. I suspect it will get built upon year after year though.
What would be cool is racial holidays where only the races town would be decorated and a focal point for the holiday for players.
