Okay…so I am not sure if anyone will be able to answer this for me, but does anyone know who does the voice of the Mad King? It sounds really familiar, and I absolutely love his voice, it fits him really well!

To me, it sounds a lot like the voice of Bane from The Dark Knight Rises.

He sounds like Sheogorath to me. But maybe that’s the “Madness Effect”.

His laugh reminds me of RuPaul… :-/

Whoever said Sheogorath is right on the money, that’s EXACTLY who it sounds like!

I just went and listened to Sheogorath again, whoever keeps saying he sounds like the Mad King is completely WRONG. Perhaps you should get your ears checked, lol.

Yep, and I was watching a video where the guy noticed this too.

I agree, he does sound like Bane now that I think about it. xD

edit: Just looked it up and that actor’s name is Mike Vaughn.

Personally I thought it was the narrator/computer from a game called Defense Grid, who was apparently called Jim Ward.

I agree with Account, I heard John Lithgow the first time the Mad King spoke. The Sheogorath (Wes Johnson?) voice is the ghost pirate in the Lion’s Arch jump puzzle I think.

The voice acting is magnificent and it is just as I imagined the Mad King to sound like in all those years in GW1. Great job on the casting and direction, Anet!

Sounds like the Master Control Program from the original Tron, end of line.

I loved the voice so much, it really made the character!

Fred Tatasciore. You may know him as Ogden in Guild Wars. Or as Hulk and Beast. (Not in Guild Wars )

He also voiced the Infected in L4D. Now that’s versatility.

Fred Tatasciore… That explains his sadness for the dwarves dissapearing :P I liked Ogden too ^^
