Guild Wars 2

Hi, anyone else feels that these 2 sets are quite disappointing considering they are cultural. Compared to medium or heavy (not to mention other races) i find them bland and honestly can’t say i actually saw anyone wearing them for a while.
T1 is on a level of the low level stuff we can craft and t2 looks like a bad version of masquerade set. The only option left is T3 which is nice but i have to get over 100g to be able to wear a cultural armor that actually feels unique. /rant over

The T2 one is alright, if you’re interested in mixing and matching pieces. I rather like the Aristocrat’s jacket, and with the right dyes it can look quite nice. The T1 is a bit bland I’ll agree.

Tier 2 is absolutely fantastic. So many details. I love it.

I do not like T3. It looks like it is missing chest piece and you are running around on your bra. I am not fan of the T3 leggings either… too much skin.

Defora, you just made me wanna go and get this. But not until the gloves get some kind of a fix. I don’t like the striped sleeve thingy, I’d like to wear other gloves with it, and the lace on the back doesn’t seem to be sewed to the skirt, it floats, but this is the only set with some kind of a jewelry. Also, the baroque mask is a great addition, I also have an access to that.

I miss GW1 earrings. 1k female ele Luxon was my favorite set.

EDIT: And so I did, after few weeks of break from the game. T2 light female is a lovely set, though with few weird solutions. I knew about them of course while buying the set, but if someone wonders:

• The stripey part just over the gloves is actually part of the sleeve. This part dyes… differently than you would expect.
• The set doesn’t like itself with most of gloves from other sets and gaiters can clip with some boots (at least on the body type I’m using).
• Absolutely no hiding the gloves – there’s an ugly gap in the mesh where wrist should be.
• The corset is short, so there’s a bit of bare skin on the back of the waist.
• Front of the armor is detailed, but the back lacks in my opinion. Whole skirt is kind of poofy and looks silly while running.
• The earring is barely affected by dyes. It’s dark and does not draw attention, sadly.

Despite that, I enjoy it a lot, because apart from student’s, heritage and cabalist there’s no other set I like. If someone considers changing the leggings, I recommend to try student’s (last pic on the left).

T1 is one of the rare sets that dont look like stolen from a stripper in LA and T2 is meh/Gw1ish like HotM armor.
