Agreed, apart from the Clint Eastwood face they all look like feminine renaissance noble teens. I remember the day (guildwars 1) i could make a human with a fierce barbarian face (with the barbarian headband/crown on his head). The shift from mediëval to renaissance is showing. And what i also miss is chesthair (only one).
More manly faces (and chest with hair) would be appreciated in the future :-)
And Natural body types with chesthair. Its all gym bodies right now.

Well, take into account that still in the XVI century you could find brutal mercenaries, like the landsknechts.

So yeah, reinassance wouldn’t be an excuse, considering humans are having it MUCH worse now than in GW1.

Necro is made without using gem story cosmetics, thief with.

Shows that one has to go as far as adding long grey hair and beard to make somewhat distinctive looks. Compare your thief and Arvizal’s thief. Human male faces are like the Warrior options in GW “1”, where almost everyone resorted to the same template for lack of non-caveman faces. My brother, cousin and years-long GW friend all had that one same face too. In this case however, one might have to look twice to tell that both aren’t the same face.

I feel like maybe people aren’t trying hard enough, heh.

I do agree however that a lot of the faces are by default very young and wish overall there were more range.

A while ago while key farming, I decided I wanted to try to make ugly-as-kitten faces.
First one I went with was an old timer..

What really annoys me is that compared to the females and the norn, human males are all teen-like or very close to that. Female human’s can be old looking, both genders of Norn can be old looking, yet the dude’s of the human race all have to be really young looking?

Like, I bet that Human trying to tell the Norn about the Human Gods in Hoelbrak doesn’t even look old, yet his voice I believe is the same actor who does a lot of the older people voices for Skyrim.

It’s obvious the person who made the human faces was a female. I wanted my chart to look 40+ with wrinkles and such there was either baby face a/b/c etc. The gw1 options were much better
