Guild Wars 2

My only lvl 80 is a guardian I played 2750+ hours on and my highest alt is about lvl 30. Guardian gives me huge problems with Liadra since I either run out of time because I do not do enough damage or die because I somehow make a mistake/ run out of dodges / whatever.
So even if I manage to beat her in another 100+ tickets, I do not want to think about the other achievements like hitting her with the light 8 times.

The whole camera, AOE circle visual, bugged orbs.. make this another fail living story thing.

I hope they stop with the living story.

Anyone I see complaining about any class losing to any of the champions bar the finale boss is literally a case of get better at your class and the game.

Ranger is the worst of the classes to cope with Liadri. Get her to the final phase and sustaining only your damage on her because your pet is dead from the beginning is just such shoddy display of game design.

If you’re not going to get all classes to work properly, don’t bother adding classes you don’t plan to fix. Outside spvp ranger is just one ball of frustration. The pet is instantly dead in wvw. It is instantly dead in dungeons. It is instantly dead in gauntlets. It’s instantly dead in DE’s with aoe happy bosses.

I used full Clerics gear with a cleric Greatsword, and Cleric Scepter/Focus.

I managed to beat Liadra.

Good for you, I cannot seem to do enough damage even if I equip berserker armor with runes of divinity.

hes got a point though…how can such a good portion of our damage be put into the pets when they die so often? they were of near zero use during liadri. what i managed to do was use signet of stone during phase 2 to give my pet some free hits, but thats just a few seconds till its instakilled by the wells. mind you ive beaten liadri with my ranger, but it would of been a LOT easier if i wasnt handicapped from the start.

~I’m for getting rid of the dome so it doesn’t complicate camera angle (maybe falling off the edge of the ring like in Molten Facility would be a fun exchange) and smoothing out the floor to see the AoE rings better…Tall Norn Gaurds are having it rough on Liadra

Maybe I am focusing too much on not dieing that I dont have enough time to do damage.
Also max hight norn doesnt help there either.
