Liongard skins have been in the game since release.

They are exactly the same as the karma version.

Yeah, what Kumu Honua said, you can buy t1, t2, t3 weapons with karma, which are located by the portals to WvW and the dungeon armor vendors. It seems more reasonable to buy with karma instead of commendations since the weapons aren’t max stat anyways.
